Kenneth Ormiston Trail

Ken Trail heads up IFC North and is a motivated and enthusiastic professional with wide experience of fundraising and management gained throughout his career.  He has an ability to combine a creative, flexible and fresh approach with a disciplined, structured, working practice to obtain results. He is a clear communicator that has the capability to think strategically and develop and organise resources to achieve solutions.

Ken has worked at a senior level in many organizations including The Burton Street Foundation where he was Funding Development Manager, leading on their £5m capital requirement to secure match funding for a £20m Capital build. He also augmented and contributed to the management team, generating revenue funding and supporting departmental Managers’ funding bids.

With The Prince’s Trust, he was the East Midlands Regional Fundraising Manager, raising funds from corporates, high net-worth individuals, trusts & foundations as well as events. He also sought public funds i.e. European, Government and Lottery grants.

In a voluntary capacity Ken has acted as Secretary and Fundraiser for the Amber Valley Victim Support Scheme from 1995 – 1999.

Ken is supported by IFC staff in Gloucester and St Albans.
