Corporate Social Responsibility

The IFC’s corporate social responsibility extends from the UK to Eastern Europe, and we are in the process of establishing trhe IFC Foundation as a UK Charty. One role of the IFC Foundation will be to assist overseas charities by accepting funds from UK grant-makers on their behalf.

In the UK we run the free First Friday fundraising clinics, answering charities fundraising questions without charge. These are based in The Hub - Kings Cross, 34B York Way, London and run from 2.00 – 5.00 on the first Friday of each month.

There is also a First Friday Fundraisers group on Facebook of which you can become a fan and post questions, answers or ideas.

We run a large bookstore on our website with a comprehensive easily searchable catalogue of books. You can purchase these online as it is linked to Amazon.

In Eastern Europe we work with the Centre for Philanthropy in Ukraine to help them develop fundraising in the former Soviet Union. We helped to set up their annual International Fundraising Workshop which started in 2000, and now encourage the Institute of Professional Fundraisers in Kiev.      

IFC also provide the free fundraising resource www.wikifund.info which is a wiki covering fundraising matters.

We do not, however, provide free consultancy to any organisations.
