IFC's Code of Practice

We follow the established codes of practice of the Institute of Fundraising, the Fundraising Standards Board, ACEVO and EU Consult and the law relating to fundraising within the Charities Acts.

We do not engage in any fundraising techniques that we believe may lower the standing of the clients in the eyes of its supporters or the general public.

We only undertake fundraising consultancy with organisations whose goals we wholeheartedly support.

IFC does not work on commission. We base our fees on a daily, monthly or per project rate. They do not vary according to the size of the income target.

IFC does not handle any cash, cheques or other forms of donation on behalf of clients. All donations go directly to the client.

We do not guarantee to reach income targets, but can undertake a thorough feasibility study to determine the likely range of income from any capital appeal.

We only employ trained consultants with extensive and relevant fundraising experience.
