Catherine Chin MMC MInstF - Associate

A consultant and senior interim manager, Catherine spent 20 years in mainstream marketing and communications, creating strategies for leading multi-national brands in Azerbaijan, Europe and Canada, before turning to the non-profit sector. She began her career in advertising leading campaign teams for major consumer brands including Procter & Gamble, General Foods, Whitehall Laboratories & Beecham, before she joined the Globe & Mail running the European & Middle East operations with offices in London, England & Frankfurt, Germany, followed by a year in Azerbaijan as a Communications advisor to BP/Statoil when she led their CSR strategy which adopted a local orphanage.

Catherine has led fundraising, marketing & communications strategies for a number of leading UK National charities including Crimestoppers Trust, Diabetes UK, The Children's Society, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, SANE - operating SANELINE, the UK's leading mental health helpline, Barnardo's - a leading children's charity, Mind - the leading mental health network with over 200 local associations & Help the`Hospices - the leading palliative care education and support network for hospices in the UK. In all, she has had responsibility for leading directorates to deliver tens of millions across all income streams for various causes with budget responsibility of over £8 million per annum & leading teams of up to 70. She has established a number of donor care & stewardship policies for many organisations including protocols for Celebrities and Patrons including Royal Patrons. She has created major donor cultivation events including Royal venues and livery halls, as well as high profile beneficiary society events, including galas.
