Francesca Zagni

Francesca Zagni worked as Secretary General of Amnesty International in Italy for 10 years. Through the organisation’s International Secretariat in London she got involved in international training courses in countries such as Poland and Russia, as well as a number of countries in South America. She then started to contribute to the work of Amnesty’s International Committee for Fundraising and Management. Following her departure from Amnesty, a number of universities and other institutions got in touch asking for advice so Francesca decided to launch her own consultancy business, as she was keen to work with serious and dedicated people, who would be able to follow through and take over the work themselves.

Francesca works mainly with institutions in the health sector, educational institutions, including a number of universities, children’s charities, development and other NGOs.

Her business has evolved very successfully, particularly in respect of collaboration with a number of university training courses, and also her management and fundraising consultancy activities. The consultancy work is supported by a network of associates based around Italy.

Francesca is a member of EUConsult and wrote the Code of Ethics for ASSIF, the Association of Italian Fundraisers.
